I will have to say that our trucks look amazing with 37" tires if you are running a 6" lift. but if you do get 37s, then you will need to re-gear, otherwise your will lose power and your MPG will be robbed. They do rub on full turn on the leafsprings but that's because the are 14" wide. I beleive if I had 12 or 12.5 wide they wouldn't rub on the leafsprings. The only way I see you could run 37"s with 4" of lift is as stated, by trimming your fender wells. Twice I've seen 15.3 but that was all highway zero stop and go traffic.

When the 2017's were coming out there were lots of concerns about trucks fitting in residential garages with standard height garage doors.

Yes, you'll need to move up to about a 4.30 gear to have the same drivability. I have a 2017 F250 6.2L 3.73 with the 275/70r18 tires. That difference again, has no affect on 37's but might give a saggy rear look with 2.5" up front. You said adding rear blocks, if needed, isn't a problem.

If you have a 3.31 axle, the only thing you can do to get it correct is set the tire size to 37" and deal with the CEL (P-1635 if memory serves). Or just buy a Hypertech and set it to 37" tires and be done. Depending on the year of the teuck, the Forscan code for 37” tires also works without using the axle code.
