Only way to make the scythe good is a crit build. (It's still not that good tbh.) Full assassin armour. Coup de grass, trapper, apex predator. Spider slider. It's pretty inconsistent but can get decent if you crit enough. I found a SoB too unreliable to make an end-game build based on it.
