Received 6,532 Likes on 2,705 Posts. I read here on the forum that once the truck is put into Park during a regen that stops the regen process. On my truck that is sort of true. I'll put it into Park during a regen that has brought the DPF % down to 60% at that point. The DPF % will continue to fall while idling.

That's now about 25mins but may take more. A regen can happen as long as the engine speed is above 2000rpm but closer to 3000 is preferred. It gets 30mpg on the highway at 65mph so I guess if it regens for 7% of the time then it will probably drop to 27 to 28 mpg.
