The 4 Mile Trailhead is pretty easy to find and easy to access. As you drive into Yosemite Valley, the trailhead is right along the main road going in. You will see signs for the 4 Mile Trail, and there will be parking along the road. The first 3 miles of the 4 mile trail is difficult because of the elevation you’re gaining and also the steepness of the trail. After that first 3 miles it does become easier. Also the panorama trail to the John Muir trail is fairly easy to moderate. There is one uphill stretch of around 500 feet but it is a gradual incline.

Probably 10-12 hours including breaks. Imo Upper Yosemite Falls is a bit harder of a trail but these are both pretty brutal climbs, but both with incredibly rewarding views. Upper Yosemite is mostly straight granite stairs whereas Four Mile is more level, but longer and with just as many switchbacks.
