Oct 5, 1999 · That is I don't think a Cub 3 will go 12" deep because the depth wheel adjustment won't go that high. It's not made to because it's a cultivator, not a plow. Cultivating is disturbing the top couple inches to knock out weeds and break up the crust of soil on the surface to allow moisture to penetrate better.
