The drop rate, despite being common on master difficulty is not that common. It can take several runs before you can actually get an exotic item to drop. It can be very frustrating to spend hours on a legend lost sector to see no exotics drop or fail to get the one that you are looking for.But I couldn't find anything regarding lost sector drop rates. I haven't seen a comprehensive farm post-lightfall to compare drop rates to the supposed ~25%/+% we used to have. from what ive heard its 25% on legend and 30% on master. pretty sure you can rerun campaign on legend for the exotic. Because the drop rates are the same for each lost sector. Some lost sectors can be done in under a minute, and bungie probably thinks 1 exotic / minute is too much. If you do get "platinum" it's a 25% or 33% drop rate for legend or master respectively. The actual number score doesn't matter though. And yet theyre supposed to be the primary source for getting Exotics. Heck GMs are way better at least you can something that is an exotic armor ,shard or an adept weapon.
