The magazine release button has a profiled protrude, let's say a cam, that should be polished. It is pretty easy to disassemble a button, but I don't recommend you to do it if you don't know how to put it back. There is a small compressing spring inside in the button. The assembly procedure requests special technics.The problem, as mentioned, is that it is "stovepiping" although from with I gather it isn't a true stove pipe, but rather the cartridge is being caught just between the bolt and the barrel, just above the barrel on the last round in the magazine... I also installed a stronger magazine catch spring, sourced from Numrich. It was for a Sig P938 and is about 1/8" longer than the stock Kimber spring and fits with no problem.With both semi-autos very close in overall length, the Mustang .380 has a 2.75-inch barrel and 4.75 inch slide length, while the Kimber’s barrel is 3.15 inches in length with a 5.25 inch slide length. Nosediving. Have to drop the mag, clear the round, close the slide, insert the mag, and rerack to chamber correctly. One 2nd round chambered OK on its own.

So within the line up the Micro .380 seems to be the most problematic. That being said if you look at other manufacturers line ups you'll find the trend continues.
