Did you save over your clear game save with your progress save. You start a new game plus by loading the specific clear file, if you saved over it you'll just have to create a new one on the next cycle. NG+ would have me do the same game "twice" just so that I can get to a "true 100%". This is why I don't want to be story invested too much in my first playthrough for a game that has NG+. Especially since in this game gives you 2 new unique lightsaber crystal that only unlocks in NG+ then there's 3 new perks that's also only available in NG+.

You could make a separate profile on your xbox console and probably play it on there. You would have different save files all together and wouldn't be messing with or touching your old saves.
