Aug 28, 2019 · I have a knight wolverine and it has been a great gun. It's an older one and I'm guessing it was built around 1997 or so, but it worked great. It was an inline with a number 11 percussion cap ignition originally, and I bought the conversion kit for it so I could shoot 209 primers. I'm using a TC Triumph right now, but the Wolverine worked great. Ok I just ordered a 209 conversion kit for my knight wolverine. I also ordered a 100 count bag of the red disk that you put the 209 primer in to shoot. My question is can you reuse the disk with more 209 primers or are they a one time use and throw away. Using 209 ignition is not the best thing in the world just from a safety factor. The ULite is by far the better rifle and more versatile. Even the DISC is a great rifle with all the versatility of the ULite.I would spend the extra money and convert. The 209 gives you a hotter ignition, less chance for a miss fire. I have converted my Wolverine from cap to 209. I would not look back. The $80 is high as mentioned above check around you should be able to get it around $40 to $50 for the conversion kit.
