Again, recoil has always been my largest complaint with polymer-frame pistols. Their lack of mass and higher center of gravity creates a lot of upward force when shooting.

A Custom Eclipse II, a Custom TLE II and a Camp Guard 10. The Eclipse and the TLE were bought new and have run 100%. The Camp Guard I bought used but it looked like it was hardly fired. The salesman told me the guy traded it in on another Kimber. I kinda thought it might have issues and it did.The only thing missing for me was a rail, and the TLE/RL II has taken care of that. This RL II starts with a steel frame with a high cut front strap and 30-lpi checkering. The trigger is an aluminum, match-grade, standard-length trigger set to 4.5 pounds. The Raptor barrel in the Stainless II slide with the same mag chambered just fine by racking the slide. I’d never fire it like this but manually working the slide it operated.
