It's basically between the C2 and P, only real difference is half inch of barrel length and a tiny bit in the grip length, but I can't figure with one to pull the trigger on.I talked myself out of it, but the thought crossed my mind. The Staccato C is a phenomenal pistol. It is light, comfortable, accurate, easy to carry, and an overall joy to shoot. I highly recommend this pistol to anyone looking to make the jump from the standard 1911 platform to the 2011 platform.Before plunking down $2500 for either the Staccato or Zev, look at: BUL Ultra II SAS Springfield 1911 DS. One of my carry pieces is the single stack version. Great shooter and light. 8 + 1 is plenty enough for me, if not I have the wilson x9s that accepts 15+1 in a subcompact package that will outshoot the staccato. Both great carry pistol that shoot really great. I like the c2 but I'm thinking of getting rid of it. My m18 shoots way better than the P365X does and fits my hands much better. The M18 weighs 2.2 lbs loaded and optic compared to 1.4 lbs for the P365X loaded and optic. The C will probably weigh the same as my M18 which defeats the purpose of a new EDC.

Staccatos are well made super smooth 2011's. Kinda apples and oranges. If your into 1911/2011 platforms and want a comp ready, duty ready, carry ready platform, Lifetime transferable warrantee, and just an overall bad ass blaster, get a staccato. Only real downside to staccatos is the $80 mags imo. 8.The Staccato-C is just as good as the rest. I'm very happy with my C. I'm a fan of well done grips, the stock grip in my opinion was sub par especially since I have well over 12 guns with STI's Costa or DVC grips. They are done for STI by Extreme Shooters. If this is a carry gun, I would vote for Aluminum. If for range and training, I would choose the Staccato P steel frame. The DLC coating on the barrel is more cosmetic. Spend that money on "upgrades" and buy more ammo. curved vs flat is gonna be preference unless you have shorter or larger fingers and need your length of pull adjusted.
