733. Beast Coast. Mar 25, 2021. #1. I'm in the market to step up my pistol game, and have been looking into the staccato line up since 2011's a weird allure to me. It's basically between the C2 and P, only real difference is half inch of barrel length and a tiny bit in the grip length, but I can't figure with one to pull the trigger on.I talked myself out of it, but the thought crossed my mind. The Staccato C is a phenomenal pistol. It is light, comfortable, accurate, easy to carry, and an overall joy to shoot. I highly recommend this pistol to anyone looking to make the jump from the standard 1911 platform to the 2011 platform. Before plunking down $2500 for either the Staccato or Zev, look at: BUL Ultra II SAS Springfield 1911 DS. Both of them are awesome handguns that share a lot of the design elements of the Zen and Staccato. I have both. But to answer the question: Staccato over Zev. The main reason for me isn't the quality of either gun, it's cosmetic/appearance.The difference is that an optics-ready C2 is $1,000 more than the Kimber, and an optics-ready Wilson is an eye-watering $2,000 more. A size comparison with the Staccato C2 (top) and the Kimber KDS9c (bottom). For a street price of around $1,300, you are replicating that 2011 feel and performance. The construction features a steel frame seamlessly integrated with a one-piece, molded-polymer grip ...

One of my carry pieces is the single stack version. Great shooter and light. 8 + 1 is plenty enough for me, if not I have the wilson x9s that accepts 15+1 in a subcompact package that will outshoot the staccato. Both great carry pistol that shoot really great. I like the c2 but I'm thinking of getting rid of it. Sep 24, 2019 · I hadn't really considered a STI until I saw Garand Thumb's review of the STI Tactical this past winter. Put them on the back burner. Than that Primary and Secondary podcast a month ago about the STI Staccato is what made me really think about the Staccato a lot. It is also on my grail list.

With a size more amenable to concealed carry, the C offers a 3.9-inch bull barrel, overall length of 7.4 inches, height of 4.9 inches and unloaded weight of 26.6 ounces. They're not that expensive for a 2011, I don't have one but I'd say they're probably worth it- especially if you qualify for the mil/le 15% off + 6 mags deal. The weight is a big part of my decisions. My m18 shoots way better than the P365X does and fits my hands much better. The M18 weighs 2.2 lbs loaded and optic compared to 1.4 lbs for the P365X loaded and optic. Jul 28, 2022 · Steel vs aluminum, I just have the C2s, and use them for carry and training. They have just slightly more muzzle flip than the steel Staccato P.
