I have recently replaced my motor on my 1997 Honda Civic. Now, the car jerks when in Drive and I have to drive the car in the lowest gear possible. The lights blink on the dash. I have had it on the analyzer and it indicated that I needed a transmission censor and still no luck. Any suggestions.Probably 3rd or 4th gear pressure switch. I managed to disconnect my alarm today by removing the bonnet catch (3 bolts) and there's a micro switch fixed to the bottom of the bonnet catch. I just pushed the metal connector out of the way so it doesn't make a contact.
