With the motion spec, you can set yourself up for some pretty good combos though, possess an enemy to turn on his allies while pulling them all towards him and when he dies you get healed and then it moves onto the next enemy.

The biggest difference is co-op play. Because Maya is the best support character in the game, you will be expected to fill that role in co-op. If you like playing medic that's great. Maya is really easy solo and is good at everything. Also a bit more fun and nuance than sal and his hold mouse 1 mouse 2 playstyle. My rankings are based on my experience with each character and how enjoyable I find their playstyle. Ranking for solo raids: sal, krieg, axton, zer0, maya, gaige* Ranking for solo mobbing: sal/krieg, zer0, maya ...I'd use something like the Florentine for sure. And depends if you have converge, I'd recommend a Slowhand or an Interfacer for one slot.
