Disable AFM, more efficient, better power, better pedal feel, and you own a tuner that can do many things. AFM delete with a new cam and lifters is the gold standard as far as I’m concerned. Devices like the Range won’t save your AFM lifters and won’t prevent torque converter shudder. It's not any different than the sensation of the gears shifting. Plus, she can enjoy the benefits of AFM mileage. Keep in mind, outside of the AFM transition sensation, the major complaint is the lack of quality of the AFM lifters. A Range unit or AFM tune won't rid you of that issue.
