Oct 4, 2011 · It's worth it. I have mine fully upgraded and lightning enchanted which leaves it at doing a total of 499 damage. That's devastating and can kill the black knight in Undead Parish in one power hit. Plus, it's fast as hell and has good reach if you do a running attack.
Havel turtles have to attack eventually and with low vit due to all that str+end, point-blank dark bead can one or two shot most havel shield users, just takes patience. They will prolly lower their shield at the wrong time if you encourage them to bs-fish through over-aggressive play, then unlock dark bead punish, gg.

You need the right dex, and 70% of the strengh. Then you should be able to wield it two handed. You don’t need to two hand it for performing weapon art, if you have a shield with weapon art as skill instead of parry that would work too I believe. You need to two-hand the Uchigatana by pressing F on PC/Y on Xbox/Triangle on PlayStation.
