Oct 30, 2023. #6. Based on my calculations you will want to spilt your panels in to 2 strings of 10 panels connected in series to each other. Each string will connect to one of the 2 PV inputs on your inverter. 12 AWG wire is both sufficient for the max current and voltage drop of the 50ft run.

After several days of trying to reflash (changing different cables, etc..) what worked for me was purchasing a USB to Serial cable that carried the FTDI chipset.With the inverters set to use the EG4/BMS communication, settings 26 and 27 in the inverter menu show a bulk/float charge of 58V.
