Favoured Soul is amazing for hardcore. On the first hardcore league I capped favour and lvl20 with it. Very good damage. nuts Survivability with high HP and healing. For reference I went spellcaster. once you get sunbolt and decent light/alignment spell power you one shot a lot of mobs. Reaper its a little harder but definitely doable.

If you do rez in-dungeon though be careful where and when you rez!

What you want for hardcore is survivability even if that means not maxing your main stat at char creation and level ups. Similarly, when picking enhancements, look for stuff that provides HP, PRR, MRR, dodge, AR, saves etc over what you would normally pick. Even feats are nice such as toughness. Look for gear that provides the same.
